Review: Iced Tea + Mango Lemonade by CQ
Contract Canna and CQ have been steadily expanding the brand’s beverage line since launch. The latest addition, Iced Tea + Mango Lemonade, is a refreshing step beyond existing shots and sodas. I recently stopped at Parkway Dispensary Tilton and picked up a can to review.
The CQ Iced Tea + Mango Lemonade comes in a resealable 16 oz. can, with 100mg of THC. The ingredients are water, cane sugar, organic black tea extract, natural flavors, cannabis extract, lemon juice concentrate, citric acid, mango juice concentrate, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and EDTA.
The label suggested a couple of dosing options: a 6mg shot per ounce or a 3mg tablespoon. It also encouraged mixing the drink. I decided to go all in and drink it straight. The liquid itself was a cloudy brown with a slight froth on the pour—visually reminiscent of a tea-heavy Arnold Palmer.
On the first sip, a sharp, sweet-citrus note hit right away, leaning more toward simple lemonade than mango. This was quickly followed by the bold, earthy taste of brewed black tea. The finish carried a subtle, herbal bitterness typical of RSO, but it was not overpowering—it balances the sweetness and encourages another sip. Overall, the flavor is smooth and drinkable leaving a clean, refreshed palate behind.
The Iced Tea + Mango Lemonade started to become noticeable by the 20-minute mark, inducing a slow building serenity and mental clarity on the come up. This window of calm clarity disappeared, and a heavier, tired pressure started to build in my chest. A haziness descended on my awareness window, couchlocking me at the peak with a dazed and space out mental state. Eventually, I surrendered to the heavy pressure and got a great night of sleep. followed by a noticeably pain-free and energetic morning. Overall, the Iced Tea + Mango Lemonade was very drinkable with heavy hitting effects.
