Review: Indiana Bubblegum by Revolution
My first experience with the infamous Bubblegum genetic line was more than a decade ago in Colorado, and it was love at first hit. I’ve been searching for the sugary sweet strain ever since. Revolution recently released Indiana Bubblegum, so I stopped into Revolution Normal and picked up an eighth to review.
Indiana Bubblegum is a hybrid cross of an Afghani Landrace and Bubblegum. This batch of flower tested at 0.45% THC, 25.08% THCa, and 25.86% total cannabinoids. The indicated terpenes were β-myrcene, α-pinene, β-caryophyllene, β-pinene, and ocimene.

One large, bright grass-green cola top had been lightly trimmed, preserving the glittering trichomes and generous helping of thin, straight, fire orange hairs. The large cola was delicate, breaking down to small pieces while simply being handled. The loose structure ground to a fine grind after a run through the grinder.
The aroma inside the jar led a candy sweet mix of fresh strawberry, cherry, blueberry, banana, wildflowers, and yes, notes of bubblegum. Beneath the fruity top notes, warmer scents of sandalwood, tea tree, and cut lumber gave the profile some body. The rich notes of tea tree and fresh cut lumber came to the front on the palate, but the sweet and delicate bubblegum tone still carried through on the exhale, coating the tongue on the way out.
Slow to build, Indiana Bubblegum induced an anxiety free but quiet and introspective head change. The physical shift started as a light core-focused buzz but evolved into a full body wave of muscle relief. Overall, the introspective head space and strong sense of physical relief were a great fit for end of the day relaxation, while the flavor profile delivered on the bubblegum promise.
