Review: Infused Mustard & Infused BBQ Sauce by Culinary Cannabis Co.
I believe one benefit of legalization is the ability to integrate cannabis into daily life in more ways than ever before. Culinary Cannabis Company shares that approach, and I’ve been reviewing some of the label’s infused base ingredients lately. Recently, I picked up the brand’s Canna Boss Sauce Infused Mustard and BBQ Sauce at Cookies Bloomington.
Culinary Cannabis Company Canna Boss Sauce Infused Mustard & Infused BBQ Sauce both come as four packets of sauce, each with 12.5mg of THC per packet for a total of 50mg of THC. Each packet came as a standard half ounce serving in a branded clear-plastic packaging. The BBQ sauce was a rich reddish-brown, the mustard a dense, vibrant yellow with the expected viscosities to match.

The mustard delivered a vinegar sharpness that came off slightly softer than a traditional French’s mustard with only a hint of cannabis bitterness at the finish. In sharp contrast, the BBQ sauce successfully masked the cannabis, with its sweetness and molasses coming through directly, followed by a sharp vinegar bite. Anyone familiar with BBQ sauce or mustard will be comfortable with these infused versions.
The fast-acting nano infusion hit me in less than 10 minutes. More head than body high, my mood shifted, and I became sillier and more playful, with my baseline anxieties pulling back. The physical effects were limited to a tingling sensation localized to my chest. A good fit for socializing, both sauces left me open and talkative for more than an hour. Overall, Culinary Cannabis Company infused mustard and BBQ sauces offer an interesting and fun way to add cannabis to your diet.
The mustard ingredients are distilled vinegar, water, mustard seed, salt, turmeric, paprika, spices, and cannabis extract. The BBQ sauce ingredients are high fructose corn syrup, distilled vinegar, tomato paste, pineapple juice concentrate, natural smoke flavor, spices, caramel color, molasses, sodium benzoate, dried garlic, mustard flavor, corn syrup, sugar, tamarind, natural flavor, celery seed, and cannabis extract.
