Review: Infused Rosin Belts by Kanha
The innovation of the new Illinois infuser licensees is encouraging. In fact, infuser Kanha has recently released something that many larger producers haven’t, a rosin infused edible. I recently had the opportunity to pick up all three flavors of the new infused Rosin Belts: Sativa Cherry Limeade, Indica Strawberry Lemonade, and Hybrid Blueberry Lemon Drop.
Kanha Rosin Infused Belts come as a 4-pack of candy belts, each infused with 25mg of rosin-based THC. There are three flavors: Sativa Cherry Limeade, Indica Strawberry Lemonade, and Hybrid Blueberry Lemon Drop. The ingredients were the same for all three flavors; tapioca syrup, cane sugar, water, gelatin, agar, locust bean gum, citric acid, lactic acid, natural flavor, natural fruit concentrate, natural color, carnauba wax, solventless rosin cannabis oil, malic acid, and VESIsorb nanotechnology.

Each belt was a gummy strip four and a half inches long, three quarters of an inch wide, and just under a quarter inch thick. Each gummy was scored into five equal sized pieces and bright red in Cherry Limeade, pinkish purple in Strawberry Lemonade, and a pale slightly translucent sky blue on the Blueberry Lemon Drop. Dense with a tough chew, the belt’s texture landed somewhere between fruit leather and beef jerky.
Cherry Limeade led with a punch of sweet and tangy artificial cherry and a heavy lime peel note that bled into a rounded earthy and herbal hashy finish. Strawberry Lemonade was an almost perfect copy of the namesake with hints of surprisingly natural strawberry coming and going across a puckering Country Time lemonade undertone mixing with the same earthy hash flavor. The Blueberry Lemon Drop was the most citrus heavy of the three. The tangy lemon took the lead while highlights of artificial candied blueberry followed. The rosin barely came through on the blueberry, and the hash flavor only appeared right at the finish.
While the flavors are classified as Sativa, Indica, and Hybrid, the effect profiles were very similar. A fast-moving headchange shifted my mental space by the 20-minute mark, calming my train of thought, killing anxiety, and pulling me into the moment. Highly mentally functional, I enjoyed using the belts in the morning before working. The body effects sent waves of warming pressure through my muscles but eventually became an allover floating sensation that lasted more than an hour. Overall, Kanha delivered an impactful flavor profile with a strong, fast acting effect profile.
