For my last few grow journals, I have grown (and am growing) Humboldt Seed strains, so when I noticed Revolution was dropping Humboldt strains, I picked one I have long wanted to grow myself, Jelly Donutz.

Jelly Donutz is a (40% indica, 60% sativa) cross of Jelly Donutz (#160 x #17), Hella Jelly, and White Runtz. This batch tested at 0.52% THC, 24.6% THCa, and 25.44% total cannabinoids.

This eighth came as several Christmas-bulb-shaped buds spotted with dark green and purple and heavily covered in amber trichomes. The aroma from the jar hit with sweet-candy diesel, minty berries, vanilla, citrus, and piney skunk. The candy diesel and sweet berries took the lead on the flavor with added notes of citrus, vanilla, earthy caramel, and creamy kush.

Jelly Donutz’ effects fit our Work Sativa criteria. The head high was uplifting, energizing, and an overall mood booster. The cerebral buzz worked well with staying on task mentally and added some creativity to my thoughts. The body buzz provided a light relief in the muscles and joints, enough to feel the relaxation but also keep moving throughout the day. The uplifting high suited morning, noon, afternoon, and evening buzzes and fit well with gaming, binge-watching, physical hobbies, and overall socializing.
