Review: Lemon Cherry Gelato by Napalm
Flora Arbor powered brand Napalm is aiming for the high-end occasion-driven consumer with specialty items such as the 7-gram Grenade preroll and the Flower Bomb eighth. I recently picked up a Lemon Cherry Gelato Flower Bomb eighth to review.
Lemon Cherry Gelato is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Sunset Sherbet, Girl Scout Cookies, and a third unknown strain. This batch of flower tested at 0.869% THC, 29.731% THCa, and 30.6% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 3.67% of the total weight.

It’s rare that I comment on packaging but the “Flower Bomb” portion of the eighth is the packaging itself, an olive-drab and hunter-orange 7-inch plastic container shaped like a WWII era bomb. The flower came inside a sealed glass dome at the top, a pack of Napalm branded papers were inside the bomb, and the bottom serves as a full-size single-stage grinder. Two large cola tops were rounded and closely trimmed with varying shades of green from forest to bright lime with darker-black sugar-leaf-base points. With small pieces of bright-orange hair and a peppering of half milky/half amber capitate trichomes, the flowers had a spongy, lively bounceback with a tacky and sticky interior feeling.
Sour-candy notes of artificial lemon, cherry, and grape led the aroma, supported by a richer, more complex blend of lavender, honeysuckle, melon, heavy cream, fresh pine, cheddar, and hot rubber. The artificial fruits appeared for a short period at the front of the experience, but the heavy cream and pine carried most of the flavor profile. Despite the dense aroma and flavor profile, the smoke wasn’t sticky and left a clean palate after smoking.
Lemon Cherry Gelato set in almost immediately, initially pulling at my brow and crown with a strong headband pressure. A cloudy mental haze slowed my train of thought. As the heavy pressure moved down into the rest of my body, my headspace shifted, and a wave of creative, imaginative thought took over. After the peak, a strong case of the munchies took over, distracting me from creative pursuits while the heavy pressure continued to pull at my body.
