Review: Lou’s Legacy Crumble by Bedford Grow
While I’ve enjoyed several Bedford Grow flower strains, I haven’t had the opportunity to explore its line of concentrates. I have a real desire to try everything Illinois has to offer so when I spotted Lou’s Legacy crumble from BG on the menu at Consume Marion, I grabbed it.
Lou’s Legacy is a hybrid cross between Chemdawg #4 X (Northern Lights X Haze). This batch of crumble tested at 5.62% THC, 73.58% THCA, 0.17% CBD, 0.74% CBDA, and 80.11% total cannabinoids.

This gram came packaged as a small rough cut rectangle of sandy khaki colored wax. The higher relative moisture content made for a concentrate that handled more like a smooth clay than a stiff crumble.
The aroma in the jar was powerful with sweet and tangy highlights of lemon zest, sour candy, diesel, and fresh spearmint. Lower temperatures worked best here and highlighted the sour lemon candy and diesel flavors well. I found myself revisiting the flavor here several times simply because the flavor of Lemonheads candy is unmistakable.
The effects really transformed as time passed starting with a tingly, almost euphoric, body buzz and high flying, spacey cerebral lock becoming heavy handed body sedation and strong mental clarity. I particularly enjoyed the anti-anxiety effects in the later phase, and I can’t think of an Illinois product that has put a stop to my racing mind so effectively.
Overall, this was one of the rare dispensary products I would stock up on. Patients seeking strong indica pain relief and stress relief with a clear workable headspace should be well served here.
