Review: Luckleberries #59 Live Budder by Revolution
By @Medsforheads
With more cultivators pushing quality concentrates out of their extract labs, Revolution’s long-held vice grip on the title of Illinois’s favorite oilmaker (according to the High Times awards and message boards) is finally loosening in the face of serious competition. Still, the recently expanded Delavan facility continues to produce clean and potent live resin products like this Luckleberries #59 budder I picked up from Greengate Chicago.
Luckleberries #59 crosses King Louis XIII with Huckleberry Kush, two heavy-handed indicas. The 85% THC budder’s effects were highly body-oriented despite having an insignificant trace of CBD.

Typically, dabs increase the tolerability of various types of back or shoulder pain I experience as a result of a chronic condition but don’t allow me to ignore it completely. This gram, however, addressed the root cause more directly, so much so that I noticed the gelatinous body high less on pain-free days and even underestimated my receptiveness to the resin’s rather understated terpene profile, one comprised of limonene, b-caryophyllene, linalool, b-myrcene, and b-pinene.
Luckleberries #59 was superb at steamrolling joint inflammation and readying my flesh vessel for rest while clearing my mind of intrusive or distracting thoughts. In the resulting meditative state, the gentle character of the head buzz turned narcoleptic all too quickly, putting me down for the count shortly after.

Aside from this budder’s medicinal value as a pain management tool, I enjoyed its opaque, subtle flavor with diverse notes of dried mulberries and blackcurrants backed by citrus blossoms and woody allspice. Both the golden color and smoothly clotted texture of the extract were favorable as well, adding up to a satisfactory medicinal dab that offered focused physical relief.
