Review: Lunaberry 2:1:1 Dreamy Gummy Bites by matter
By Mark’s Manual
I don’t often venture into edibles, but when a good deal comes my way, like at Verilife River North, I’m down to try something new. So I picked up Pharmacann’s Dreamy Gummy Bites by matter in its Lunaberry 2:1:1 variety.
The package contained ten gummies with a total of 100mg THC, 50mg CBD, and 50mg CBN. Cannabinol, or CBN, is a cannabinoid assumed to provide drowsiness. Opening the pouch, I was hit with a smell that took me back to elementary school, wafts of blueberry, not unlike that of a sweet-scented eraser.
The gummies have an M imprinted on them, giving a familiar look to a certain chocolate candy brand, but in gummy form, it is unique with the embossment. Some of the gummies stuck together in the package but were easily separated into measured doses of 10mg THC, 5mg CBD, and 5mg CBN each.
The texture was solid and satisfying to chew and didn’t get stuck in my teeth. The blueberry taste was there at the start, but after I bit into the gummy, that ole cannabis oil flavor was unmistakably present, and a slight hempy bitterness lingered. Some people are bothered by the taste of cannabis in their edibles, but if the results are there, I don’t mind it.
The high rolled in slowly, and I felt heavy and drowsy within an hour. The body high was intense, and I could feel it in my extremities the most. I deal with cramps in my right hand from an old injury, but these gummies made that pain non-existent. I sank into my easy chair, and it was good. My mind was in a haze, no longer racing thoughts from the day. Within 90 minutes of eating the Lunaberries, I was blissfully asleep for a nap.
