Review: Peach and Pomegranate Gems by Bedford Grow
We’ve been reviewing and paying attention to every new flavor and formulation from Bedford Grow’s Gems line since their launch. Lately, Bedford Grow has released an entirely new flavor for the Gems line, a flavor blend meant for summer, Peach and Pomegranate. I recently stopped into nuEra Champaign and picked up a sample to try.
Bedford Grows Peach and Pomegranate Gems come as five gummies with 20 mg of THC per piece. The ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, natural flavoring, gelatin, citric acid, cannabis oil, cornstarch, and potassium sorbate,

Each gummy was a deep purple-crimson tone and shared the size and texture as the rest of the Gems line. Roughly the size of a starburst across and twice as thick, these gems carried a chewy, almost “hardened Jell-O” texture that had a lot of bounce back against a bite.
The scent after opening the jar was sweet and fruity, a blend of artificial peach, pomegranate juice, and berries. The flavor carried the vibrancy well, a juicy mix of sweet peach ring and tangy pomegranate juice. This flavor was my favorite of the BG Gems line by a long shot.
I’ve trusted Bedford Grows edibles to deliver a steady energetic buzz and these were no different. At the forty-five minute mark, I was clearheaded and ready to work. Focus was easy, and I enjoyed taking these as soon as I got up in the morning.
The physical buzz was a surface tingling sensation that built, eventually becoming a heavier warm-blanket-style full-body buzz. These gummies hit above their 20mg dosage with an energizing buzz and a delicious fruit forward taste. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
