While rosin has come to dominate the world of concentrates, the solventless extract is still trickling into other product categories. Journeyman has recently released a line of infused lemonade shots with hash rosin, so I picked up the Pineapple Lemonade Hash Rosin Shot to review.

The Journeyman Pineapple Lemonade Hash Rosin Shot is a 2-ounce shot with 100mg of THC. The ingredients are filtered water, sugar, natural flavoring extracts, gum arabic, coconut oil, malic acid, cannabis extract, natural coloring, xanthan gum, and sodium benzoate.

Inside the small bottle was a vibrant sunflower-yellow shot. Slightly syrupy, the viscous liquid had some legs clinging to the glass with a light swirl. Despite the syrupy viscosity, the 2-ounce shot was easy to down in one go.

The pineapple was the star of the show with a bright, fresh fruit note hitting the palate first. That was followed by a hint of tangy lemonade and an herbal but surprisingly clean hash flavor at the finish. Overall, the lemonade was balanced, providing more depth of flavor than sweetness.

Fast-acting, the shot started working within 15 minutes. A warming wave of muscle relaxation began moving outward from my chest. My energy levels remained constant while my headspace became open and expansive, allowing for more creative thought. Despite the quick onset, the muscle relaxation lasted for a full hour.
