I’m a firm believer that consumers have more power when they have more options. That’s why I’m always happy to see new labels adding new flavors, the more options the better. Dibz, a label from Contract Canna, has recently added Pineapple Mango to its edibles lineup, so I picked up a sample to see how the new option stacks up.

Dibz Pineapple Mango gummies come as a bag of 20 gummies with 5mg of THC per piece. The ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin, citric acid, potassium citrate, malic acid, cannabis oil, tapioca maltodextrin, coconut oil, natural flavors, natural color from apple and carrot juice.

Each bright translucent orange Dibz gummy was shaped like a six-pointed star and about as big as a quarter across. Extremely soft, these gummies put up almost no resistance to the teeth and began to dissolve quickly as they were chewed. The sweet front end of the flavor profile was solid mango juice with a hint of pineapple tang coming in before a lingering cannabis bitterness appeared at the finish.

Dibz were fast acting, producing noticeable effects within 20 minutes (on an empty stomach). Low doses released tension in my back muscles and joints, making exercise and roughhousing with the kids easier, while higher doses produced a strong “weighted blanket” effect that I usually find in indica flower.
