Review: Raspberry Punch High Dose Gummies by The Botanist
Despite the fact that 1,000+mg packages are available in both Michigan and Missouri’s recreational markets, Illinois has limited all edibles to 100mg per bag, drastically reducing the options for consumers. I recently spotted The Botanist Raspberry Punch High Dose Gummies on the menu at Nature’s Care Co. Rolling Meadows and was intrigued in the way the brand worked around the heavy-handed regulations, so I picked up a pack to review.
The Botanists Raspberry Punch High Dose gummies came as a two-pack of gummies with 50mg of THC per gummy. The ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, natural flavor, pectin, cannabis oil, malic acid, citric acid, sodium citrate, and natural color.

Two deeply colored ocean-blue gummies tumbled out of the bag. A light sugar coating speckled the surface, stopping the moist surface from being sticky to the touch. These gummies chewed with a soft gumdrop texture that came apart easily without sticking to the tooth. The flavor was a lightly sweetened artificial blue raspberry that was part strawberry and part candied blackberry with hints of lemon cutting through the sweetness. Even at the 50mg dose, there were almost no detectable cannabis style herbal or bitter tones.
The Raspberry Punch gummies hit within 45 minutes, inducing a cerebral shift that built from light tingles into waves of body pressure that threw me off balance at peak. Mentally, The Botanists gummies provided a hazy awareness window that gradually opened up over the next hour and a half before leaving me clearheaded and relaxed for the rest of the night.
Overall this 50 mg dose was just right for my higher tolerance and I’m happy to see The Botanist innovating in a space where regulations have made things notably difficult. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
