Spring has sprung, and outdoor public and private events are in full bloom. As such, I enjoy carrying around a little extra discrete pop of THC on me while around others, so a couple weeks ago I picked up from Curaleaf Mokena a Lemon Lime Select Squeeze by Curaleaf. Select Squeeze is a fast-acting THC-infused beverage enhancer and part of the Select brand.

A little more than a year ago, Curaleaf launched Select Squeeze in fourteen states. Illinois was one of those states. I reviewed the Watermelon Select Squeeze then and am now that spring is here I sampled the Lemon Lime.

I basically took the small Select Squeeze container with me to private and public events and when I wanted an extra shot of THC without leaving present company, I squeezed the bottle to measure out a few milliliters to drop into my drink, which was usually a carbonated pop or seltzer, though I could have added to any drink really.

A strong lemon aroma wafted from the opened Select Squeeze container. The bottle’s design featured a fill-and-pour reservoir that made precision dosing straightforward. The bottle’s fill-and-pour reservoir dosed 5mg of THC per fill that I filled into my drink. The bottle contained 20ml of watermelon flavor enhancer with a total of 100mg of THC.

The strong lemon-lime flavor mixed well with seltzers and other wide range of hot or cold beverages. I also enjoyed mixing it with CBD drinks for more of a body effect. A few times, I used the Lemon Lime Select Squeeze as a “top off” for after returning from a smoke session.

I felt the head high effects in the first five minutes. It was a faster punch of cerebral buzz, and the overall buzz was shorter in length than other tradition edibles. The cerebral buzz was closer to smoking the flower than other edibles or drinks I’ve consumed.

The bottle is conveniently portable to carry in my pocket or in a bag for on the go use. I can pull it out and enhance whatever drink is available with almost complete discretion. Lemon-Lime is one of four flavors first launched by Curaleaf. The other three included Watermelon, Strawberry Lemonade, and Hint of Sweet.

Select Squeeze’s advanced formulation utilizes Nano-emulsification technology to transform any beverage into a THC-infused, flavor-enhanced experience. According to Curaleaf representatives, by turning cannabis oil into tiny water-soluble molecules, the THC compounds not only dissolve evenly into any beverage but are also more rapidly and efficiently absorbed into the bloodstream, with effects felt in as little as 15-30 minutes, significantly faster than traditional edibles.
