Review: Slurricrasher by Cresco
As part of the 420 celebrations, Sunnyside dispensaries in Illinois are offering for a limited time discounted Cresco products via The 420 Collection. So I stopped of at Sunnyside Champaign and picked up four samples from the collection, including this Slurricrasher eighth.
Slurricrasher is a hybrid cross of Slurricane and Wedding Crasher. This eighth tested at 0.82% THC, 24.05% THCa, and 24.87$% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes included caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool.

Slurricrasher definitely had bag appeal with dark purple buds highlighting the green and heavily cream-color trichomes. The thumb-tip sized buds were dense with sporadic dark orange hairs stuck out. Though I don’t grind my flower often, these buds had to be broken apart better than my fingertips could do.
The aroma delivered a hops-like funk and potent gassy kush and diesel on the front end with back notes of sour berry (from its Purple Punch lineage), citrus grape, and sweet cherries. The flavor offered similar notes as the aroma, leading with a heavy kushy hops funk and gas. The inhale and exhale also carried sweet berries, sour grape, citrus diesel, and lemon cherries. The back end of the exhale left the palate with a sour-grape fuel and kush funk.
Slurricrasher landed with traditional hybrid effects. The onset of the head high hit quick with a cerebral and uplifting rush that was more clearheaded and mood boosting than expected. After the initial cerebral rush, the head high mellowed into more stress-relieving and relaxing effects. The head high for the rest of the buzz eventually balanced with the heavy body buzz and sat heavy in the eyes and crown of the head.
Slurricrasher’s body buzz crept in much later than the head high and eventually leveled out the overall buzz. The buzz started with relieving tension in the neck and shoulders then worked its way down the body. More doses made the body buzz heavier and hit in waves of muscle relaxation. Eventually, the body buzz pushed the effect more indica leaning, and at the back end of the buzz became more sedating.
Overall, Slurricrasher started with a sativa-leaning effect and ended with indica-leaning effects. I medicated with Slurricrasher in the afternoon, evening, and night for mental and physical relaxation and stress relief from that day’s outside forces.
