Review: Sour Lemonz Blunt by Outfitters
Blunts have been my go-to for walking the dogs after midnight. Outfitters, a brand by The 1937 Group, launched a line of blunts, so I picked up the Sour Lemonz 2g blunt to review.
Sour Lemonz is a sativa-leaning cross of Sour Diesel and Lemon Haze. The flower for this blunt tested at 2.39% CBGa, 24.58% THCa, 0.58% THCv, 22.48% total THC, 28.47% total cannabinoids, and 2.6% total terpenes. Primary terpenes included terpinolene, trans- β-ocimene, β-cryophyllene, and myrcene.

The blunt came in a brown wrap with a bright red band with the words “hand crafted’ and the Outfitters logo marking the point where the glass tip met the flower. One reason I like a blunt while walking the dogs is because I can stop smoking at any time and place the blunt back into the container. It usually takes three walks to finish a 2g blunt, and the blunt burned evenly, even though I put it out twice and relit it three times.
The aroma and dry pull delivered terpinolene-heavy notes of lemon and lime. Once lit, the flavor of the flower provided the lemon and lime with added notes of earthy pine, diesel, hazy citrus, skunk, grapefruit, and sour apple.
The effects worked well for our Work Sativa series, with an energetic and uplifting head high and a fast onset. The creative head high had focus and motivation to get work done and worked best for daytime use and socializing. The body buzz crept in much later than expected, starting in the arms and legs and working itself inward. The body buzz relaxed my muscles and joints more than expected after long walks. Overall, the Sour Lemonz Blunt burned evenly and worked well for a pick-me-up at any time of the day.
