Review: Strawberry and Tangerine Gummies by Kush Queen
I’ve been gobbling through edibles that contain minor cannabinoids and thought I’d try the newly launched gummies from Kush Queen. For this review, I sampled the Strawberry Gummies and Tangerine Gummies.
The Strawberry and Tangerine Gummies each had ten cubed gummies per pouch. Each gummy contained 10mg THC and 5mg of CBD. The 2:1 THC to CBD ratio was the inverse of most 1:2 ratio gummies sold in Illinois. The gummies were about a half inch on each side and coated in sugar.

Neither the Strawberry nor Tangerine had a strong aroma out of the pouch, but the flavors were on point, especially the Tangerine. The Tangerine flavor remined me of Orange Slices candy with a fitting sugared tangerine and orange from the first bite to the last. The Tangerine Gummies’ texture had a little more give on the bite than orange slices. Same with the Strawberry, which also match its namesake with a sweet strawberry and citrus twist.
The effects for both were the same. The head high was a little stronger than expected with the CBD ratio and started out as a clearheaded high that boosted my mood. As the buzz built, the head high became more relaxed with wandering, lackadaisical thoughts that helped block out the stresses of the day.

The body buzz started slow but once in full swing became a strong muscle and joint relaxer with a sinking sensation. That sinking sensation gave way to a weighted blanket feeling later in the buzz. The Gummies also led to heavy sleep each night and were good for an end-of-the-night use. I prefer the 2:1 ratio, which hits my sweet spot for pain relief more than 1:2 ratio.
The ingredients included sugar, glucose syrup, pectin, cannabis extract, citric acid, natural flavors, and colors derived from fruits and vegetables.
