Review: Supreme Planet by Blaze
Mosca Seeds has been producing gear for more than a decade, and again, one of the breeder’s strains has found its way into Illinois dispensaries. Blaze recently released Supreme Planet, originally bred by Mosca, so I picked up an eighth to review.
Picked up from Consume Cannabis, Supreme Planet is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross of Supreme Ruckus and Planet Hulk. This batch of flower tested at 0.967% THC, 30.533% THCa, and 32.693% total cannabinoids.

Two larger pointed flowers and two smaller rounded pieces had been lightly trimmed, retaining some of the closest-clinging sugar leaves and a network of thick, fire-orange hairs. The buds were turf green across the rest of the surface and brightened by a frosty looking layer of milky trichomes. The flowers were dense in the hand but still produced a fluffy grind that left a hasty greasiness behind when handled.
The scent was noticeable as soon as I broke the seal on the bag. A dense mixture of engine oil, diesel, fresh rain petrichor, hot rubber, and roasting nuts were carried by a rich, floral-hash undertone that tied the aroma together. In the smoke, the hashy undertone became a top note, delivering an herbal and floral mix before layers of diesel and roasted peanuts hit the palate.
Supreme Planet was fast to act, lifting my mood and widening my perception before I had finished a bowl. Optimistic and motivated, the cultivar was particularly well suited for wake and bakes. The physical shift trailed the head change by a few minutes. A wave of tension relieving muscle relaxation left me with a floating sensation at the peak. The mental clarity also outlasted the physical change, keeping me open and anxiety free for more than an hour and a half.
