Review: Tangerine Hash Drops by Aerīz
At various points in my childhood, I collected coins, vinyl records, rocks, and even political pins. As an adult, I’m collecting cannabis reviews. The itch to hunt down a particular product is strongest when I’m trying to complete a full product line. That brings us to Aerīz Tangerine Hash Drops, the last of the Hash Drop line and a product I’ve been waiting to review since it dropped.
Aerīz Tangerine Hash Drops come as a 20-pack of gummies with 5mg of THC per piece. The ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, fruit concentrate, pectin, fruit flavor concentrate, malic acid, MCT, full spectrum cannabis oil, natural color, sodium citrate, and lecithin.

The Hash Drops packaging is among my favorites in our market. A classic mint tin opened to reveal two arranged layers of quarter-sized translucent-orange gummies coated with sugar and separated by a piece of wax paper. Flat on the bottom with a domed top, each gummy resembled a slightly flattened half sphere. Stiffer than a standard “gummy,” the gumdrop texture put up considerable resistance to the tooth.
A balance between a hit of sugary sweetness at the top and the earthy FSHO flavor that followed created a simple sweet-hash tone with a touch of orange appearing at the finish. Notes of mushroom, freshly turned earth, basil leaves, and thyme ensured I was aware of the infusion. The overall flavor profile was so subtle that it had almost no staying power, leaving a clean palate once the chew was gone.
Aerīz markets the Tangerine flavor as a sativa due to the strains of FSHO they are infused with, but I found the experience to be a center spectrum hybrid. A slowly building mood boost set in by the 45-minute mark, putting a smile on my face and making me talkative. A wave of muscle relaxation accompanied the head change, bringing some sensations of warming pressure along. Mentally positive and functional but physically heavy, the Tangerine Hash Drops were best as an afternoon or evening break.
