Review: Tangie Berry Moonrock by Kaviar
I’ve said before that moonrocks are something every stoner should try at least once. I’ve been surprisingly captivated by the format lately. From mixing with hash, flower, or even as a plus up to a joint, I’ve been finding moonrocks to be surprisingly flexible. I recently stopped at Consume Marion and picked up a Tangie Berry Moonrock from Kaviar to review
Tangie Berry is a sativa-leaning cross of Dreadyberry and Tangerine Dream. This 1-gram moonrock tested at 12.47% THCa, 45.18% THC, and 60.001% total cannabinoids.

A singular imperfect sphere came encrusted with a powdery olive-drab kief layer on the surface. Beneath that, a dense and squishy black oil was dry where it met the kief but still held some sticky moisture inside. At the core, a small piece of flower had been completely overcome by the heavy oil but still helped to maintain the overall structure. Using a sharp dab tool, it was easy to cut small pieces off the edge of the ball.
The scent inside the jar was light with vague notes of sour unripe berries and an herbal wild-grass tone, but cutting into the moonrock released a blend of cut cedar, roasting fat, and tea tree oil that added some depth to the tangy unripe-berry lead. On the palate, previously undetected notes of wildflowers and perfume accompanied the cedar and tea tree. Incredibly sticky, the smoke coated my tongue, and I could still taste the moonrocks long after the bowl was done.
The moonrock was true to Tangie Berry’s sativa roots, boosting my mood and energy levels after a short come up. The uplifting buzz left me talkative and social but unfocused and easily distractible as well. Physically, a wave of euphoric tingles came and went within the first fifteen minutes with a light release of muscle tension following up. Overall, the uplifting sativa buzz worked especially well for wake and bake purposes.
