Review: The Glove by Tales & Travels
With the ever-expanding array of cultivated cultivars, it becomes crucial to take notice when a strain garners a devoted fan base. Over the last few years, The Glove has managed to cultivate its own small yet enthusiastic group of fans. Tales & Travels has recently released a fresh batch of this strain. Interested in what drives the hype, I recently visited Enlightenment Mount Prospect and picked up a sample.
The Glove is a hybrid cross of The Snowman and Y Life. This batch of flower tested at 0.73% THC, 22.43% THCa, and 23.49% total cannabinoids. The indicated terpenes were β-caryophyllene, β-myrcene, limonene, linalool, and α-humulene.

The eighth came as a handful of loosely structured, bright green buds with patches of clumped-together thick-orange hairs and a generous milky trichome frost. Some small splashes of pink and purple further enhanced the bag appeal.
The aroma from the mylar was sweet with berries and heavy cream on the front followed by a more complex blend of fresh mint, lavender and earth as the scent developed. The flavor carried the sweet berries on the inhale, while the exhale was characterized by the earthiness from the aroma.
Surprisingly energetic and uplifting, The Glove effect profile was more sativa leaning than the hybrid label indicated. Playful, irreverent and silly, I enjoyed The Glove most for socializing as it made me more open and outgoing.
The physical side was very light and outside of some faint tingles in my core, it was mostly undetected. Overall, I enjoyed the complex aroma and extroversion I found The Glove provided. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
