Review: Waltz Haze Live Resin by Bedford Grow
One of the things I’ve learned about my own consumption habits as I’ve been writing reviews is that I’m very seasonal. During the winter, I gravitate to the cozy “warm blanket” of heavy indicas and as the spring and summer warm up, I start to get out more and look to the motivation of sativa strains. With temperatures rising and the flowers starting to bloom, I was happy to sample Waltz Haze Live Resin by Bedford Grow to get the season going.
Picked up at Springfield Maribis, Waltz Haze is a sativa leaning hybrid cross of Dawg’s Waltz (Purple Urkle X Tres Dawg) and Haze. This batch of live resin tested at 82.5% THCa, 2.77% THC, 1.69% CBGA, and 87.58% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes included b-myrcene, limonene, and b-caryophyllene. Smaller amounts of linalool and a-humulene were also detected.

This gram came as a mound of clear diamonds in a golden amber sauce with an appreciable thickness to it. The size of the crystals was notable as a substantial portion of the weight came from two large diamonds that I had to break up to dose out easily.
The aroma in the jar was tangy, opening with fresh lemon zest, a fresh green tea herbal tone, and a spicy mix of cinnamon and pepper occurring over more subtle notes of fresh cedar and floral lavender. Vaporized at a low temperature, the tangy lemon came to the front, taking on a sweetness before the fresh green tea flavor stole the spotlight. This fruit and herb combination made for a bright, fresh flavor that brought my spring garden to mind.

Waltz Haze started in my body with a tingly euphoria that made me want to dance (bad pun intended). My body felt energized and lightened enough to make everything physical a bit easier, my body a bit less heavy. The mindscape was playful and open, becoming far too spacey and lightly psychedelic for work.
Overall, Waltz Haze had a delightful fresh flavor and truly “recreational” high that made for a great playful experience.
