Review: Wedding Cake and Berry Gelato Blender Vape by Daze Off
The two-in-one vape format has been taking off as multiple Illinois brands introduce their own hardware for the fledgling category. Aerīz imprint Daze Off has introduced the Blender line of two-in-one vapes to stake their claim in the space. I recently picked up a Wedding Cake and Berry Gelato Blender from Daze Off to review.
The Daze Off Wedding Cake and Berry Gelato Blender Vape is a 2-gram distillate-based oil infused with botanically derived terpenes. This vape tested at 86.48% THC and 89% total cannabinoids.

Standing just over 2-inches tall and almost 2-inches across, the rounded black plastic all-in-one vape was easy to conceal in my palm. The top featured a large, centered mouthpiece and a split visibility window for tracking the oil levels in the dual 1-gram tanks. An all-over embossed pattern with tiny Daze Off motifs added some variety to the appearance. A USB-C charge port and a small button allowed me to choose between flavors or hit both at the same time.
Berry Gelato carried a sweet, mixed berry tone that toed the line between natural and artificial. At the top I detected fresh blackberry and strawberry, but the finish was a candy-like artificial raspberry that overpowered everything else. The Wedding Cake was much closer to natural cannabis with herbal tones of dried parsley and thyme leading a blend of fig and artificial grape. Blended, the sweet artificial tones of berry from the Berry Gelato and grape from the Wedding Cake came through clearly. Neither flavor clung to tongue, even when combined, leaving a clean palate in its wake.

There was little difference in the effect profiles of the flavors. A couple pulls were good for a quick headchange that tamped down anxiety while preserving my energy levels. Playful and silly, it was difficult to focus, making for a vape that was better suited to socializing than working. A wave of euphoric tingles crested and disappeared within the first ten minutes, leaving me with a lingering sensation of physical lightness. Overall, the experience was more mental than physical.
