Review: White Wedding RBX by Legacy
I’m a fan of Ethos Genetics, having grown a few of the breeder’s strains myself, so when I recently had the chance, I picked up to review an eighth of White Wedding RBX, an Ethos creation, grown by the team at Legacy.
White Wedding RBX is a three-way cross of Wedding Cake, Mandarin Cookies, and Crescendo, originally bred by Ethos Genetics. This batch of flower tested at 1.39% CBGa, 0.5% THC, 26.1% THCa, and 27.99% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 1.21% of the total weight with limonene, linalool, β-myrcene, and β-caryophyllene. A handful of just larger than popcorn flowers carried a consistent bright lime-green base with thick rust-red hairs and a sprinkling of large visible individual trichomes adding some visual variety. The buds were dense and required some force to push through my grinder but left a lot of hashy greasiness on my fingers and palms, even after being ground.

The aroma was as dense as the buds with notes of candied orange peel, lime juice, raspberry, and fresh pine resin leading into more subtle tones of creamy buttercream frosting and hints of hot diesel at the finish. The citrus notes of sweet orange and lime maintained the lead on to the palate, while the cakey-cream note became much heavier, supplying most of the exhale tone and keeping the entire profile quite sweet.
White Wedding RBX opened with a strong pressure tugging on my chest, arms, and brow. My mood shifted towards an optimistic and playful positivity, while my focus started to dissipate. At the peak, the physical pressure spread to my entire body, but the playful, light mental state kept the experience from becoming tiring or heavy. The mental shift outlasted the physical experience, leaving me in a pleasant and agreeable mood for more than an hour and a half.
