Review: Zoap by One Day
An ever-expanding list of cannabis naming categories seems to exist: fruits, pastries, candies, etc. One of the most fascinating to me is soap, and the newest additions here in Illinois is Zoap, from One Day, which I recently picked up at Stash Orland Hills.
Zoap is a hybrid cross of Rainbow Sherbert and Pink Guava. This batch of flower tested at 0.03% CBDa, 0.29% Delta 9 THC, 26.84% THCa, and 27.71% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 2.209% of the total weight.

These flowers were consistently bright-turf green, except the randomly bunched orange hairs and a dusting of solidly milky trichomes. Dense in the hand and grinder, these buds were tightly sticky to the core, requiring some force to get through my grinder.
Sweet cream, candied lavender, grapefruit peel, and hints of fresh green bell pepper created a crisp top end, while notes of cherry flesh and earthy mushrooms blended to create the back end of the body and finishing tones. The smoke was notably smooth and packed with flavor without any harshness no matter the size of the pull. The earthy notes came to the front of the profile on the palate alongside the sweet cream, while a blend of lavender and rose provided a lightly floral finish.
Zoap quickly provided a playful, silly, and sociable headspace that was energetic but unfocused. Physically, the opening of the experience matched the mental energy with a tingling euphoric come up, but by the 30-minute mark a heavy-indica weight had settled into my core. Eventually, the mental energy wore off, leaving a pain-warming, pain-relieving body buzz that stuck with me for a couple hours.
