Tree Huggers connects cannabis communities
Brendaly Beltran “loves enjoying life” and wants to make a difference in the cannabis community and beyond. As such, Beltran founded Tree Huggers to not only help break the stigma around cannabis use and educate users around responsible consumption but also to build a community of individuals and resources for those who want to improve their lives.
“Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe space for a healing community,” Beltran said, “a group of individuals to take charge of their lives and become accountable for becoming the best version of themselves with the resources we help provide them. We blend the best three worlds: natural plant medicine, holistic healing, and rave culture.”
To make a difference, Tree Huggers has included a fundraiser for the Arbor Day Foundation to help kick off its first event. Beltran bills the event as “an opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds (plant medicine, holistic healing, catering, art, music, etc.) to come together and share their own business with our community. All while collecting funds for the Arbor Day Foundation.”
Tree Huggers also believe in enjoying life, which was where Tree Huggers: After Dark was born.
“At Tree Huggers, we do all things with intention,” said Beltran. “We work hard to become the best version of ourselves, then come together to celebrate it. We wholeheartedly welcome you to join our community and step into your higher self. All while making a difference. And having a good time.”
Tree Huggers believe that everyone holds the power to create the life they dream of and that nature is healing, and together we have endless opportunities for growth and success.
“We believe that our world is hurting, people live in fear and many times they use distractions such as cannabis use to get by,” Beltran said. “But we want to inspire them to do all things with intention. With the purpose of always stepping into their highest self and being accountable for reaching their goals.”
The first Tree Huggers: After Dark event is scheduled for 7-11 p.m. September 17. For more information, contact Beltran by email at treehuggerschi@gmail.com or apply for membership here.
