The Hemp Club (THC), a registered student organization at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and nuEra have partnered to host a two-day Cannabis Career Fair highlighting the wide range of careers within the cannabis industry. The goal is to give students and community members the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, learn about career pathways, and better understand the many sectors that make up the cannabis space.

The Cannabis Career Fair is scheduled for 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on May 2 and May 3 at the nuEra Greenroom, located at 102 E. Green St. in Champaign, Illinois. Job seekers and industry professionals interested in attending the event can RSVP directly to uiucthehempclub@gmail.com or on Instagram @uiucthehempclub. Attendees may arrive at 9 a.m. THC plans to announce more information soon.

Day one of the event will focus on non-plant-touching careers and roles that support the industry beyond cultivation. Day two will highlight plant-touching and hands-on cannabis careers. THC’s mission is to build a professional and educational community centered on cannabis by fostering informed dialogue, promoting responsible engagement, and connecting students with meaningful career pathways within the industry.
