It’s legal!

But where can Illinoisans purchase recreational cannabis? Check below for the list of more than fifty licensed dispensaries in Illinois. Please note supplies may be restricted because of limited supplies or municipalities voting to “opt out” of recreational sales.

For example, Harbory Medical Cannabis Dispensary in Marion announced, “We WILL be selling recreational marijuana starting January 1st!”

But Harbory also announced, “Unfortunately we will not have flower available for rec yet due to the statewide flower shortage and required 30 day supply we must keep for our medical patients.”

In 2020, the state of Illinois is scheduled to issue up to 75 adult use cannabis licenses to new applicants, including social equity applicants.

By the end of December, Illinois could have as many as 110 or more licensed dispensaries.
