wildFLOWER Festival set for Aug. 12-14
Summer is in full swing and so are the cannabis-friendly outdoor music events. One of those upcoming events includes the wildFLOWER Festival presented by Koala T Glass. The wildFLOWER Festival is a two-day celebration of music, art, cannabis, and nature.
The wildFLOWER Festival will host live music and art, as well as multiple vendors and food trucks. Group activities will include yoga, meditation, drum circle, and kayaking (byok/launch is 5 min drive from venue). Primitive camping will be available onsite. The grounds also provide the opportunity to hike trails and go fishing.
The event is set to start Friday August 12 at 2 p.m. and runs until 12 p.m. Sunday, August 14. The festival grounds are located at the Putnam County Conservation District, 4526 E 1000th Street, Hennepin, Illinois. Tickets can be purchased here.
The wildFLOWER Festival still has booth space left for vendors interested in attending the event. For more information message Lauren Jo on Facebook or Instagram @koalatglass.
Live music features The OG3, Troubleshoota, Sturg and Friends, The Easy Riders, Ryan Kynd and more. Must be 21 or over with ID to enter. Dogs are allowed but must be registered at the front gate. Campers are allowed, but there are no utility hookups. Campers with generators will be parked in a designated area.
Specializing in classic functional designs with a heady touch, Koala T’s art features a variety of hand pipes and pendants with clean linework, playfully vibrant colors, and plenty of wigwags and opals. To learn about cannabis-friendly events in Illinois, click here.
