Review: Green Crack from Verano
My first introduction to a strong energetic sativa was eight years ago when I tried Green Crack. I had never smoked a strain that allowed to me stay focused and creative for several hours without a break. Needless to say, I was hooked, but finding Green Crack on the black market in central Illinois was near impossible. Oh, how things have changed. This week I purchased three eighths of Verano’s Green Crack from Illinois Supply & Provisions in Collinsville. Verano, headquartered in Chicago, creates “artisan cannabis products that improve lives and inspire.” I was not disappointed. Verano’s Green Crack (26-33% THC) was everything I remembered about the strain and more.
Green Crack is a cross between Skunk #1 with an unknown indica.
For me, two characteristics separate Green Crack from other strains. First, very few strains can match Green Crack’s sharp, intense focus. As someone with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder Without Hyperactivity), this strain allows me to be able to concentrate on work for hours. Second, Green Crack has one of the softest landings. Even after smoking throughout the workday, Green Crack keeps me energetic, alert, euphoric, creativity, and doesn’t cause the normal “weed crash.”
Verano’s dense buds are easy to handle. The citrus, fruity (with a earthy hint) aroma matches its taste. The smoke is smooth, and the aftertaste is a mix of lemon and mango. Green Crack is at the top of my Work Sativa strains, and I could not be more excited that Verano is producing this strain for Illinoisans.
Other Verano strains I am looking forward to reviewing include G6, ATX Crazy Train Haze, and Thai Landrace.
