At the beginning of this year, Illinois News Joint made live our Events Page (that we’d hidden on the website throughout the pandemic) and have been adding Illinois cannabis-friendly events to the page ever since. Now, we’re at the point to where we can barely keep up with all the events.

Many Illinois cannabis events have gone from inaugurals to annuals, and some events have solidified themselves as the premier cannabis event in their area. Chicago is now hosting around 3-6 cannabis-related conferences/symposiums per year and will probably add more, and southern and central Illinois are adding more cannabis-friendly events as well.

In the past week, we have added to our Events Page more than a dozen new cannabis-friendly events, from northern to southern Illinois. Check out the October calendar here.

Some of the events on the docket for this week include a Brunch of Stoners event and the

2nd Annual IHGA Disc Golf Tournament. The following week’s event includes Smokerz Glass Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening.

The end of the month is the most booked for events, including the Illinois Women in Cannabis Annual Fall Harvest Celebration, Higher Harvest 2nd Annual Croptober Fest, Koalat Glass Pumpkin Bash, Kreations Halloween Part, Otto’s Nightmare on Elm Street, Homegrown Supplies Croptober Fest, and more.
