Maribis of Chicago opened in 2015 and is located at 4570 S. Archer Ave. in Chicago. The retail store serves recreational users but also offers a discount to medical patients. Hours of operation are Sunday through Saturday from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

Maribis is an independent and female-owned cannabis company with dispensaries located in northern and central Illinois. The website states, “At Maribis, we care for all who walk through our doors, be they medical patients or everyday users; we are here to provide quality service and products. We are thankful for those who support us as a community dispensary by joining in our service efforts at local colleges and NFP organizations that give back directly to those in need.”

The Archer dispensary is 3,800 square feet and was originally built in 1949. Maribis of Chicago is only a 6-minute drive to and from Midway Airport and is located near the Orange Line (Kedzie and Pulaski). Special Features include (cash rewards, kiosk ordering, etc.): New Loyalty program, Daily Deals, ATMs inside, and express lane for online ordering.

For the community, Maribis Archer participates in a variety of programs, including yearly back-to-school drives for Brighton Park, food drives for Gage Park Latinx Councils El Mercadito, Thanksgiving food drives, Winter drives (Blankets, Coats, Food, Toiletries) for the V.A. and AMP, as well as supports CAWC (Connections for Abused Women and their Children). Maribis also funds scholarships at two community colleges for students interested in cannabis careers.
