Hemp-Hops-Shrooms offers festivities and education
The upcoming Hemp-Hops-Shrooms Festival is an event that is set to combine multiple modes of education. Scheduled for Saturday, September 24, Hemp-Hops-Shrooms will run from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. in downtown Carbondale, Illinois.
The Hemp-Hops-Shrooms Festival will host live music and educational presentations on cannabis, mushrooms, and fermentation by local and regional experts, as well as host local vendors, food trucks, and more. The event is free to the public.
Coordinated by the City of Carbondale, Southern Illinois University Cannabis Science Center, SIU Fermentation Science Institute, Makanda Mushroom Festival, Economic Development in Carbondale, and Carbondale Mainstreet, the event is set to host educational presentations and workshops in the morning and music in the afternoon and evening.
The more than 20 vendors will be located near S. Washington Street from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Hemp-Hops-Shrooms Festival is still accepting vendor applications for the event. Apply on the site here.
