Review: Limoncello Gummy Bites by matter.
Continuing with my attempt to sample and review products outside my preference zone, I picked up from Verilife Ottawa Limoncello Gummy Bites by matter.. Though I prefer lemon-flavored terpenes in my flower, I am not a huge fan of sour gummies, especially lemon. I enjoyed the Cherry Cola Gummy Bites and Kiwi Strawberry 1:1 Sour Gummy Bites by matter. I reviewed in July, so this time I went for what usually would be my last flavor choice, Limoncello.
The Limoncello Gummy Bites’ pouch enclosed ten sugarcoated gummy bites. Each gummy bite contained 10mg of THC. The yellow half-sphere shaped bites sported the lowercase M, as used in the matter. brand.

A pungent lemon aroma blasted out of pouch when opened, followed by notes of sweet pineapple and grapefruit citrus. The flavor matched the aroma and reminded me of chewy version of Lemon Drops.
The flavor also hit first with strong lemon. The sugarcoating tempered the sour of the citrus, but before I finished chewing, the tart lemon again led the sour treat. For those who seek out sour/tart lemony treats should enjoy the Limoncello flavor.

With the emulsified THC, the onset was quicker than traditional edibles and as with the Cherry Cola Gummy Bites more cerebral. The head high was motivating and euphoric for the first three-quarter of the overall buzz but also at times a little mind wandering. The effects kept me upbeat, happy, and smiling, until late in the buzz.
Unlike the Cherry Cola Gummy Bites, the Limoncello Gummy Bites’ body buzz also had a quicker onset for me (maybe because I was already muscle sore when I ate them). The end result was the same. The body buzz slowly built to relax muscles and cramps without sacrificing laziness or lack of motivation.

Similar to the Cherry Cola Gummy Bites, the ingredients are made for a sugary treat. Ingredients included corn syrup, sucrose, water, pectin, lemon oil, citric acid, trisodium citrate, cannabis oil, fruit and vegetable juice (color), and Vitamin E TPGS.
