Homegrown Review: ‘Cereal’ Edibles by Jane Grow #3
We are always fascinated by what medical cannabis cardholders in Illinois are creating from their homegrown medicine. This review comes from Jane Grow #3, who shows us what she often concocts for a great-tasting medicated treat. Because even medicine needs a sweet-treat surprise once in awhile, right?
Jane Grow #3 creates two different “cereal edibles” that adds a little novelty to her medication. Instead of the normal Rice Krispies treats, Jane Grow #3 whips together Fruity Pebbles and Chocolate Toast Crunch treats.
Jane Grow #3 uses a mix of different shake from the leftover homegrown flower to make “cannabutter” for the treats. The cereal treats are simple ingredients of either Fruity Pebbles or Chocolate Toast Crunch mixed with marshmallows, vanilla, and cannabutter for a tasty treat that helps her medically and satisfies her sweet tooth.
Jane Grow #3 has been a medical cardholder since 2014 and growing for two years, and she has been making edibles and teaching infusion classes since 2015.
“I worked with Greenhouse for a few years doing complimentary cooking with cannabis classes for patients,” she said, “but stopped after things went rec, when patients weren’t being taken care of.”
