IDFPR solicits feedback for Administrative Cannabis Rules
The Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation’s Cannabis Control Section is soliciting feedback from the public to the Administrative Cannabis Rules. IDFPR is asking owners, employees, and customers of cannabis business establishments to offer suggestions for potential updates and changes to the rules regarding dispensaries and their employees under the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Program Act.
IDFPR has created a survey, which can be found here, that contains three main questions:
– Are there specific sections of the rules that you believe should be changed?
– Do you have any ideas of how IDFPR can improve upon the rules that aren’t captured in the current rules?
– Do you consent to a member of IDFPR’s Cannabis Control Section or Office of Legal Affairs reaching out for additional information on your suggestions or recommendations?
The form will not automatically collect details, such as names and emails address unless voluntarily provide. The rules for Adult Use Cannabis Dispensing Organizations can be found here. The rules for Medical Cannabis Dispensing Organizations can be found here.
