Illinois November cannabis sales lowest since June
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced Illinois’ monthly recreational sales totals today.
November cannabis sales totals of $120,748,946.72 were the lowest since June’s $115,574,741.27.
In November, the in-state resident sales totaled increased to $81,722,303.46 from October, but the out-of-state resident sales totaled decreased to $39,026,643.26 from $42,162,949.29 in October.
Total items sold in November reached 2,769,211.
After gains each month in the first year of legalization for Illinois, the second year has seen drops in monthly sales five times. Monthly totals have hovered in the low 120 million for the last four months, from $121,717,709.51 to $127,794,220.50
November cannabis sales pushed Illinois’ yearly sales totals to more than $1.24 billion. With one month before the year ends, Illinois’ recreational sales totals are set to double Illinois’ yearly 2020 totals of $669,084,410.12.
