Illinois November medical cannabis sales drop by $2 million
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a drop in November medical cannabis sales for flower and concentrates.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for November totaled $30,793,569.83, including $14,863,940.22 in dry flower sales and $15,929,629.61 in concentrates/infused-products.
Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 63,753 unique patients, who purchased 1,129,997 grams of dry cannabis.
In 2020, retail sales by the 55 licensed medical cannabis dispensaries totaled $331,224,390.61.
Cultivation Centers have totaled wholesale numbers of $296,574,127.15 for 2020 and $748,638,754.68 since November 2015.
The Illinois Department of Public Health has approved applications for 145,959 qualifying patients (including 745 persons under 18 years of age), since it began accepting applications for the Medical Cannabis Registry Program on September 2, 2014.
Licensed Medical Cannabis Dispensaries have sold $853,442,624.57 in retail sales since November 2015.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for October totaled $33,135,102.46, including $16,098,170.52 in dry flower sales and $17,036,931.94 in concentrates/infused-products.
Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 65,152 unique patients, who purchased 1,204,821 grams of dry cannabis.
In 2020, retail sales by the 55 licensed medical cannabis dispensaries totaled $300,431,174.26.
Cultivation Centers have totaled wholesale numbers of $271,599,406.83 for 2020 and $698,993,389.98 since November 2015.

August retail sales of $15,135,227.55 in dry flower, though, topped June’s $14,330,657.20 total flower sales.
In August, licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 63,168 unique patients, who purchased 1,100,913 grams of dry cannabis.
In June, licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 62,811 unique patients, who purchased 1,112,475 grams of dry cannabis.
Medical patients bought less concentrates/infused-products than in June by nearly $1.3 million.
