The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its November medical cannabis sales totals. November totals jumped up to $23,534,153.65, the highest monthly totals since May 2024. November’s totals buck the trend for the last three years in which November totals dipped below October totals, before reaching the highest total of the year in December.

Retail sales of medical cannabis for November included $11,217,284.40 in dry flower sales and $12,316,869.25 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 59,467 unique patients, who purchased 1,322,044 grams of dry cannabis. Total 2024 retail sales by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $261,573,052.74, and total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $2,225,138,245.22. Total wholesale sales by cultivation centers hit $332,102,496.00, and total wholesale sales since November 2015 by cultivation centers equaled $3,939,048,110.
