The Illinois Women in Cannabis’ annual spring conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 12.

The 2020 conference is titled is “The Green Evolution — Cultivating Strength Through Industry Change and Challenges” and will be hosted from 9 a.m.-4p.m. at the Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology (565 West Adams Street Chicago).

Conference presenters include cannabis industry leaders and experts who will be discussing the evolving opportunities in the regulated cannabis industry in 2022 and beyond. Attendees will learn from cannabis business leaders who build awareness for the industry and create jobs to grow local economies.

The day will be filled breakout sessions and panelist discussions. The keynote speech will be giving by Dorri McWhorter, President and CEO YMCA and Board of Directors, Green Thumb Industries (GTI).

“We expect a robust, diverse, energized group of 175 to 200 cannabis industry women and men to attend,” said marketing team volunteer Cindy Kosydor.
