Review: De Citron by Bedford Grow
Shop by strain. As a Missouri budtender, I always recommend shopping by genetics when patients are looking to build a repertoire of products that work for them. I’ve narrowed my list to a couple of handfuls of legendary strains that always work for me, Lemon Tree being near the top. That’s why I was so excited to try one of its children strains, De Citron by Bedford Grow.
Picked up from Maribis Springfield, De Citron is an indica leaning hybrid cross of Lemon Tree and Chem De La Chem. This batch of flower tested at 15.08% THCa, 0.20% THC, and 15.43% total cannabinoids. The primary terpenes included b-myrcene, b-caryophyllene, and a-humulene. Smaller amounts of limonene and ocimene were detected as well.

This eighth came as a handful of small flowers that really were the size of popcorn. Light green with a noticeably amber toned trichome frost, these flowers were quite dense. These nugs had lost a considerable amount of moisture and ground up into something much more “powdery” than I prefer.
The aroma from the jar was very light and took some real exploration before I detected a faint orange zest followed by a crisp green grass. As fast as I found the olfactory indication of the terpene content, it disappeared. The flavor was a confirmation of the light scent with a flash of orange and not much else.

The effects opened in the body with a light relaxation and noticeable relief in my joints, making some physical work more bearable. The mind effects remained profoundly clear with some anxiety relief and a lighthearted mood overtaking me without becoming heavy at all.
Overall, I found this fit in as a simple smoke before messing around the garden or chasing around my kids.
