Medical Cannabis Advisory Board to meet Sept. 15
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), in conjunction with the Medical Cannabis Advisory Board (MCAB), has released the agenda for its next meeting. MCAB is scheduled to meet virtually from 3:30-5 p.m. Sept. 15.

Those wishing to provide public testimony will be called in the order in which they register. Each speaker may speak for up to three minutes. Persons who wish to register to speak may contact Janette Candido at Eva-Janette.Candido@Illinois.gov. The portal for the meeting can be found here.
The agenda includes time for agency presentations from the Department of Agriculture, Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Department of Public Health, and Cannabis Regulation Oversight Office. The following meeting is scheduled for next year, from 3:30-5 p.m. Feb. 9, 2026. Next petition submissions for proposed new qualifying conditions are due between Jan. 1-31, 2026.
