After reviewing Illemonati, Melted Cherries, and Chicago Runtz, the last Cronja flower review of this batch was the in-house strain, Ism Punch.

Ism Punch is a hybrid cross of Papaya Punch and Joker #31. This batch tested at 32.420% THCa, 1.169% THC, 2.286% CBGa, and 36.363% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included β-myrcene, pinene, β-caryophyllene, and Bisabolol, with 3.006% total terpenes.

The 2-gram pouch of Ism Punch came as two large colas. The dense buds were dark green with some splotches of purple and a heavy coating of milky trichomes. The aroma hit with a mix of sweet pine, diesel, spicy citrus, and fruit with back notes of cinnamon, mint, lemongrass, and pepper. When grounded down, the aroma also carried a layer of cat piss and cheese. The flavor followed the aroma but added a heavier dose of sugary fruit on the inhale and exhale that mixed with the sweet gas, pine, herbal citrus, and pepper. The smoke was smooth on the inhale and exhale.

The hard-hitting effects mixed an extremely heavy body buzz with a thought-calming and happy head high. The onset for both was quick. The head high started right after the exhale and caused a headband affect, as if wearing a tight stalking cap. Though the relatively clearheaded buzz soothed racing mental thoughts into a less stressful mood, the effects were only sedative with heavy dosing or at the end of the buzz. The body buzz hit quick with waves of pain relief and relaxation that became heavier and heavier until it reached a heavy-blanket effect. Overall, Ism Punch worked well for late-night decompression, especially when I didn’t want to fall asleep right away, and for binging shows or movies before crashing.
