Review: Illemonati by Cronja
Following the 2nd annual Illinois Craft Showcase, I’ll be reviewing more products from craft brands, including this Illemonati by Cronja, a strain that perfectly fit our Work Sativa review series.
Illemonati is a sativa-dominant cross of Gelonade and Dosido. This quarter ounce tested at 21.808% THCa, 0.778% CBGa, and 23.148% total cannabinoids. Dominant terpenes included β-caryophyllene, limonene, and β-myrcene with total terpenes at 1.056%.

The dense buds displayed purple colors among the light and dark green hues and were coated with a thick layer of creamy trichomes. The aroma hit with earthy citrus, minty diesel, vanilla, sweet hops, and lemon pine. The flavor delivered more vanilla sweetness and mint cookie throughout, with strong notes of lemon citrus, earthy kush, and pine. The vanilla and sweet cookie flavor coated the palate and had me wanted one more hit each time.
The effects combined a strong but clearheaded mental buzz with a strong body buzz. The head high was uplifting, creative, and overall happy without racy side effects. The physical buzz came on quick with waves of relaxation that built toward a heavy-blanket effect. The body buzz eventually reduced the energy boost, but the head high remained clearheaded and mood boosting. Overall, I dosed early in the day and during work, but I also found Illemonati a nice pick-me-up strain in the late evening.
