Seven Point’s mission is to deliver a transformative and inclusive cannabis experience for every customer.
“We are committed to offering the highest quality cannabis available in the state, enhanced by interactive ‘lift and learn’ educational technology that empowers informed choices,” said Founder Brad Zerman. “Through consistent deals, promotions, and doorbusters, we strive to make cannabis accessible to all adults.”
Seven Point has a robust rewards program, offers kiosk ordering throughout the entire store, and “Lift and Learn” technology.
Utilizing “lift and learn” technology, Seven Point displays more than 400 cannabis packages, which purchasers may lift and set down on an electronic reader that displays on a monitor all pertinent information about that particular product. The purchaser may then choose to order the product or lift and learn about another product. The store is set up by brands on the display cases on the floor and by formulation on the wall displays, intertwined with rock, pop, hip-hop and country music sections. The music sections play music videos (no audio) by genre in addition to offering new and re-release vinyl records for sale throughout the store. Seven Point is the only independent Vermilion County dispensary not tied or owned by an Illinois grower
Seven Point originally was one of the first 50 medical dispensaries in Illinois, then located in downtown Oak Park, but the dispensary was acquired by a multi-state operator in 2019. That same year, Zerman teamed up with his first Oak Park hire, Amy Lee, to apply for multiple licenses in Illinois. Seven Point was awarded a dispensary license in Danville and was the first and only operational social equity dispensary located in Danville. Seven Point brought its medical and educational background to open the 5,300-square-foot dispensary on the Indiana border, just 1.5 hours from Indianapolis.
Seven Point soon will be opening a 1,200-square-foot Smoke Lab, where patrons will be able to participate in nightly activities, such as music trivia, music bingo, karaoke, open mic, live music, etc. The lounge features a bar with free use of bongs and other popular smoking devices, with a large menu of hemp drinks and snacks. The Smoke Lab has a stage to run the events from and an outdoor patio with 1,500-square-foot of space to hang out at a table or play games in the grassy area.
Seven Point also is launching in the parking lot its vendor marketplace collaboration with the Danville Farmer’s Market (Phase 2) from 2-6 p.m. Saturdays and 8-3 p.m. Sundays. The Danville Farmer’s Market operated out of the Seven Point lounge space throughout last winter. In addition, Seven Point proudly engages in community collaborations and support through donations to organizations such as CASA of Vermilion County, the Children’s Dyslexia Center of East Central Illinois, as well as events that celebrate Pride and Juneteenth.
