Review: Green Apple Ice and Grape Ice Dual Chamber Vape by Realeaf Botanicals
While the world of vape oil has settled into a few distinct categories, the list of hardware options continues to expand. The latest innovation to hit the Illinois market is the introduction of dual chamber/dual flavor vapes. I recently stopped at BLOC Metropolis and picked up a Realeaf Botanicals Green Apple Ice and Grape Ice Dual Chamber Vape to review.
The Releaf Botanicals Green Apple Ice and Grape Ice Dual Chamber Vape is a 2-gram disposable filled with a distillate based oil and infused with botanically derived terpenes. This vape tested at 4.03% CBG, 93.83% THC, and 98% total cannabinoids.

Just under three-inches tall and two-inches wide, the small matte-black plastic rectangular hardware was easy to conceal in my palm or slide into a pocket. A large visibility window displayed the split where the two tanks and coils were divided, while allowing me to track my remaining oil levels. The two mouth pieces sat at the top corners of the mouthpiece, allowing me to hit each one individually or both at the same time. With no power settings, each coil produced a strong hit with a dense cloud, and combining the two produced a dense vapor that provided one of the strongest throat punches I’ve ever experienced.
The flavors were distinctive and easy to tell apart with a simple test hit. Strong and tangy, the Green Apple Ice was a punch of artificial Jolly Rancher-style apple flavor with a crisp and clean finish. The Grape Ice was sweeter, blending artificial Kool-Aid-style grape with a Concord-grape-jelly tone that coated the palate more than the apple side. Hitting both sides at once seemed to overwhelm and confuse my tastebuds, overloading my palate with a simple sweet sugar tone.

Both flavors had similar effect profiles. A fast-acting mind shift tamped down my anxiety and my energy levels, slowing down my train of thought and reaction time. Happy and peacefully serene, the Realeaf vape was great for an end-of-day sesh to bring me down but too heavy to use early. The physical wave hit me after the mental shift, relaxing my tightest muscle pains for a few minutes at the peak.
