Review: Alchemy’s Enigma #33 Live Budder by IESO
By MarkE
Reflecting on the past year, as I have switched to more concentrate consumption over flower, I find myself continually drawn towards Live Budder. For me, Live Budder is easy to handle, produces rich color and flavor, and possesses a certain photogenic quality. I picked up Alchemy’s Enigma #33 Live Budder by IESO from Mission South Chicago.
This batch of Enigma #33 Live Budder tested at 2.81% Δ9-THC, 76.13% THCa, and 0.56% CBD, with a total of 79.50% cannabinoids.

IESO put a sticker on the lid with the strain name, so I didn’t have to try and remember which jar was what after tossing the box. A quick pinch and the top popped off without issue. A healthy dollop of yellow budder held its excellent shape in the center of the jar.
Scooping the budder was tricky, as it’s not as sticky/tacky as one might expect. The aroma had a subtle fruit smell on the front end and finished with a dewy plant smell, hoppy but different, like fresh grass in the spring. The initial flavor was sweet, and then a taste of caramel apple. The back end had a hard-to-place flavor akin to the old candy wax lips.
I had an immediate rush to the top of my head and behind my eyes, followed by heaviness in the face, then a relaxing wash over my body down to tingling in my feet. Despite the heavy feeling, I felt awake and relatively alert. I could still carry on a conversation and did so without rambling on. There was an ease in muscle tension in the body, and while the heaviness subsided after a short while, the pain relief and the high lasted.
Enigma 33 Live Budder should be a good choice for early evening. It provided the relief I was looking for after work but left me with the energy to get some cleaning done and dinner made. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
