Review: Apollo Apple Sour Gummies by Galaxy Labs
While most craft labels are expanding by adding new strains, some are adding entirely new categories to their lineups. Craft label Galaxy Labs recently expanded into the world of edibles, so I picked up the Galaxy Labs Apollo Apple Sour Gummies to review.
Galaxy Labs Apollo Apple Sour gummies come as a 10 pack of gummies with 10mg of THC per piece. The ingredients are organic tapioca syrup, organic cane sugar, water, pectin, natural flavor, citric acid, sodium citrate, and ascorbic acid.

Three-quarters of an inch from point to point, 10 small star-shaped gummies were a translucent champagne straw yellow, similar to the color of applesauce, and coated with sugar. The small size made it easy to eat several gummies at once. The candies had almost no “squish” in the hand and a gumdrop texture that put up some initial resistance to the tooth.
The sugar coating hit first with a cotton candy sweetness leading into a crisp-fruity tone, landing somewhere between fresh apple and fresh pear. A light bitter note cut through the sweet-fruit tone right at the finish, but it didn’t linger. In fact, the entire profile had a crisp, clean finish that left the palate with the gummy.
The Apollo Apple Sour gummies took almost 40 minutes before unleashing a heavy wave of mental and physical tiredness that bordered on exhaustion. A strong wave of pressure pulled at my core while the mental buzz cut off my wider perception, leaving me peaceful but detached from the moment. The heavy profile was best fit for the end of the day and surprisingly useful for getting to sleep.
