Review: Banana Kush Vape Cart by PTS
When searching for something I would consider a “workday” cannabis product, I’ve started to move away from the idea that “sativas” are the only answer. As I’ve started to dial in what works perfectly for my workday, I’ve started to get more value out of hybrids and even some indica strains. This Banana Kush vape cartridge from Progressive Treatment Solutions was my next hybrid encounter after I found it on the menu.
Banana Kush is a hybrid cross of Ghost OG and Skunk Haze. This vape cartridge, picked up at Consume Chicago, tested at 82.873% THC, 3.52% CBG, and 87.53% total cannabinoids. The most abundant terpenes were b-myrcene, limonene, and a-pinene with 2.94% total terpenes. As always, I commend PTS for including a scannable QR code on the package that links to a full lab analysis.

The flavor was light with a vaguely tropical tone somewhere between mango and papaya on the inhale with a much more robust flavor of oranges and creamy bananas on the exhale. There was a unique lightness to the vapor from this cart, even when I turned the power setting up on my battery. No matter how many times or how long I hit it, the hits came out smooth and without a cough.
The effect profile really did hit the 50/50 hybrid mark for me, opening with an easygoing and positive mindscape. Banana Kush did more than just take the edge off, and after a few hits, I really found my anxiety disappearing completely. The body profile was less satisfying and although I started to feel a great tingle in my core after several hits, I never reached a point of pain relief.

Overall, this cart was a good fit for my day-to-day, the easygoing flavor and effects could fit anywhere in my schedule. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, click here.
