Once a specialty product, macro-dose gummies have become standard issue for Illinois dispensary menus. OGeez! has been offering BIG versions of the brand’s gummies for a while now. I recently picked up an OGeez! BIG Watermelon gummy to review.

The OGeez! BIG Watermelon gummy comes as a single gummy with 50mg of THC per piece. Almost two inches at the widest point and a half-inch thick, the large droplet-shaped gummy felt heavy in the palm. Deep forest green with a thick coating of rough sugar, the gummy was portioned into ten slices radiating from the center. Slightly denser than a standard gummy, the Big Ogeez! initially provided a light bouncy resistance to my teeth.

Sweet, with a slightly tangy peak near the middle of the profile, the watermelon gummy landed right in the center of the natural-artificial flavor spectrum. An herbal-medicinal style bitterness emerged as the tangy watermelon tone left the palate. The flavor left a lingering candy note on the palate that persisted after the gummy was gone.

Slow to build, the gummy took about 45 minutes to start shifting my mindset and body presence. The buzz started in my muscles, slowly warming and relaxing them before spreading outward from my stomach. A slightly detached and dazed headspace followed. Quiet, relaxed, and introspective, the experience lived up to its indica label.

The ingredients were cane sugar, corn syrup, distilled water, gelatin, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, cannabis extract, carmine, and terpenes.
